Job Description
PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada is seeking a proactive Summer Term Engineer-in-Training (EIT), either a recent graduate or a student currently enrolled in their 3rd or 4th year of an accredited engineering program, to join our team for a summer work term. The successful candidate for will have an opportunity to network with a variety of people at the forefront of the oil and gas industry, helping manage projects that will have a significant impact on responsible oil and gas development, with specific focus in the fields of methane emissions reductions and digitization. The Summer Term EIT will contribute to the scoping, analysis, and implementation of technology development projects and provide hands-on experience in a collaborative team, supporting engineers and project managers to deliver technical excellence.

Applicant Eligibility
Applicants must be between 15 – 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period.
Applicants must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person granted refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of employment.
International students are not eligible for this position.
